Sales Lead

Join our team as a Sales Lead and play a vital role in supporting the Sales Team Advisor and Account Representatives in achieving success with our GPC beverage brands. You’ll help ensure smooth operations, strong communication, and consistent service across our accounts. If you’re detail-oriented, collaborative, and passionate about supporting a high-performing sales team, this could be the perfect opportunity for you.


 

“A day in the life of a Sales Lead looks like:”

  • Provide coverage for Account Representatives during time off to ensure seamless service and execution across all accounts.
  • Assist with zone planning and scheduling to align resources with business priorities.
  • Lead and support account resets, demonstrating strong organization, leadership, and a growth mindset.
  • Help train and onboard new Account Representatives, building team consistency and performance.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with retail partners to drive collaboration, long-term growth, and community engagement.
  • Participate in leadership development initiatives to strengthen management and strategic capabilities.
  • Provide weekend coverage on a rotating basis (approximately one weekend per month) to maintain execution standards, support merchandising needs, and respond quickly to customer or operational issues. 

 

What does it take to be a Sales Lead?

  • Bachelor’s degree in Sales, Marketing, or another Business-related field preferred
  • Minimum 3 years related experience
  • Preferred proven sales and service ability within the soft drink industry
  • Demonstrate intermediate/advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office including Excel, Word and PowerPoint
  • Must have a valid driver’s license and a good driving record
  • Able to lift up to 20 lbs. periodically
