Receptionist

 Are you the friendly, organized, and professional face we’re looking for? GPC is seeking a Receptionist who thrives in a dynamic environment and enjoys being the go-to person for both our customers and internal teams. This position plays a key role in creating a positive first impression and supporting smooth daily operations across departments. 

 

Work Schedule:

  • Monday to Thursday: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
  • Friday: 8:00 AM – 12:00 PM
  • Scheduled to work every 3rd Sunday for 4 hours and receive the following Friday off.
     

“A day in the life of a Receptionist looks like:”

• Warmly greets and directs customers and visitors to best fit their needs/inquiries
• Answers, screens, and transfers incoming telephone calls professionally
• Creates, sorts, scans, documents and correspondence for various departments
• Generates reports as needed for operational and administrative purposes
• Performs driver daily route settlement and accurate data entry
• Handles, balances, and tracks money for petty cash and employee sales
• Assists with data entry for inventory and receiving processes
• Provides backup support for various administrative and clerical duties
• Maintains a clean, organized, and welcoming front office area
 

What does it take to be a Receptionist with GPC?

• High School Diploma/GED required; Associate’s Degree in Administration preferred
• 1+ year of experience as a receptionist or in a similar administrative role
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams)
• Efficient, accurate data entry and strong attention to detail
• Excellent time management and multitasking abilities
• Strong communication skills – both verbal and written
• Team-oriented with a positive, can-do attitude
• Professional appearance and demeanor
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion
• Dependable and committed to delivering outstanding customer service
